Creative image of friend

We need to create a creative image of my friend.
My brain : "creative image of my friend?"
i had no idea on doing this....
the 1st thing come on my mind is i wan change my friend to a comic look!

After I had sketch it out, I scan in to my computer and slowly trace with pen tool in adobe illustrator using basic shape and colour. To make the character feel more CUTER, I had add in pink oval shape in his cheek. Besides that, by add in LONG hair for him can make the character feel more interesting too!

I hope my friend like the creative image I did. =)

Lesson 1 - Define Creativity

What do you will think about when the word "Creativity" come to your mind?

For me creativity is the ability to create something NEW from what our mind is thinking and then produce into reality. Just like we can create something NEW like NEW ideas, NEW concepts, NEW objects or even a NEW things that may existed in the world but replacing the old one. However all these NEW creation may be useful in solving problems in our daily life, entertaining ourselves and others.

For being a creative people, we need to think outside the box which will result us in viewing or thinking in different perspectives. We must try not to think of the obvious things. 1+1 may be not equal to 2?

It is very useful for being a creative people! Sometimes, we fear of being wrong end up with not dare to try it out. Actually we can learn it from the mistakes by not to escape the thing we feel cannot do.
You think you are not creative? But you never try you never know!


Creative is requires a lot of HARD WORD! For example, Thomas Alva Edison. He is try invent light bulb that many inventor had tried and failed before! However, the light bulb invented successfully by Thomas Edison! It's not something he do on his first try. He test thousand and thousands of other materials to use for filament without giving up. Lesson 0 - Introduction to Creative Studies

Creative studies is one of the subject in my this trimester. From lesson 0, I get to know that I need to create a creativity blog journal for this trimester to document my creative journey here! Wow ~! Sound interesting~ I hope I enjoy doing this and my reader enjoy reading this too =)

At lesson 0, lecturer had told us about the objective of creative studies, learning outcome and briefing about our course outline. Yes, I get to know something new is creative not only the image look nice or what but problem solving too!

Since this is the subject of creative studies, so I expect more on this subject, maybe because I am a creative student here and want to get more knowledge about creativity? I hope I can learn more in how to think in creative way; Learn how to create something that really creative and unique; Learn something that are really new and interesting stuffs and MORE ! From a boring thinking people to become a more creative thinking people. Yet, I not saying that I am not creative at all, but for sure I still need to explore more to become more creative rather than keep standing at the same point without improving.

My motto always is "Work hard to be success!"
